Event Details

When it comes to uncivil behavior, almost everyone you know has a story to share. Most people seem to agree that we could use a little more civility in our everyday lives...but where to start?

Join Dr. William B. Allen for an amusing yet insightful look at the subject as seen by our very first President, George Washington.

Dr. Allen, a member of the HCPL Board of Trustees, has a long and esteemed career in education and is currently a Visiting Scholar in Residence at the University of Colorado-Boulder. He served previously on the United States National Council for the Humanities and as Chairman and Member of the United States Commission on Civil Rights.

Free and open to the public. Registration is recommended.
