Harford County Cultural Arts Board presents Maryland Poet Laureate Grace Cavalieri Saturday April 4, 2020

Poetry Writing Workshop for Teens
1:00 pm Havre de Grace Library
for ages 13 - 18
Registration required

Grace Cavalieri, Maryland’s tenth Poet Laureate, will present a workshop on writing poetry involving talks, prompts, and writing on the spot. We don’t hope to make poems as instant relics, but rather access the ideas always available to us. We’ll learn methods to jump-start poems at home.

Permission slips will be emailed to registrants so that group photos can be used by the Maryland State Arts Council and recordings can be made to make a podcast of the event.  Those without permission slips can still attend workshop.

A reception will be held later in the evening open to the public.
