Searching for healthy yet yummy snacks and meals for busy back-to-school days? Look no further! 

Joan Norman, from One Straw Farm in White Hall, will join Chef John Shields and Library CEO Mary Hastler as they prepare veggies galore for snacking, along with dips that kids will love. Sneak in nutritious ingredients with recipes like Homemade Ranch Dressing with Sprinkles (yes, sprinkles!), Hummus PB&J, and versatile Zucchini “Crab” recipe that makes a delicious snack or meal. Use Farmer Joan’s Pasta & Greens for a quick n’ easy dinner, and finally... EZ Mini Slab Pies! We have something to please everyone... even your pickiest eaters!

This event will be presented virtually on ZOOM and is scheduled for Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 7:00-8:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time.
